Missing Memory
My pc has 256mb of ddr pc2100 installed, and in system information is says as much, yet my pc is only utilizing 224, and only shows 224 available to open programs...what is tying up the 32 mb of memory so that the system doesn't allocate it? and how do I find it?

Probably wrong, but.....
Does your motherboared have built-in video? Could be allocating system ram to video.

When you say "system information says as much", is that Windows system info or BIOS? If BIOS says 256, and Windows says 224, then ceh383 is most likely right - 32mb is allocated to video.
