    pop3 incoming mail keeps reverting back.

    Hi.. this is puzzling. Its seems from time to time I have to make a new mail account.

    pop3 incoming and outgoing servers are supposed to be the same. eg. (yada.yadayada.net) But incoming keeps reverting back to "localhost"

    just a pain in the butt to keep creating new accounts.
    A reg hack?

    One reason immediately springs to mind and that is you have, or have had, a download scanner on board; something like a 'spam catcher' where incoming mail is intercepted and scanned first.

    It's not my speciality so I may be stating the obvious; in which case ignore me.
