    Can't rename printers

For some reason I can't rename printers in Win2k. I'm logged on as an individual user with Admin rights. On right click, "Rename" is not an option and under "File" on the menu bar, it's greyed out.

    Any thoughts?
To err is human. To forget to turn the NumLock on is just plain stupid.

If your printer was added as a network printer from a server, then you would only be able to rename it on the server.
    Asus A7N266E
    AMD Athlon XP 2400+
    512Mb DDR2100
    ATI 9600 256MB
    40Gb WD HDD

    Another way as well..

    Thanks Luke.

Found another work-around. Supposedly you have to set your network printers up as local printers with an already established port (set up through jet-admin I'm assuming) and then you can rename it anything you want.

This really bites. A simple thing such as renaming a network printer is impossible. How ridiculous.
