SP1 i386 files
After I've installed SP1 on this machine, are these i386 files doing anything besides taking up room?

Microsoft has this somewhat curious KB on i386. Maybe, you should just leave it right where it is.

Thanks DuaneB, since it's already installed I moved the folder to my E: drive. (after I asked the question.) Ghost will save me if I've made a mistake.
I'm thinking the SP1 install puts the files there before it installs, so after the install they are possibly not necessary. I can either move them back or start over. (startover=5 minutes) I've got the entire SP1 download (120+MB) on disk so that install only takes about an additional 5 minutes.
When I was running w2k, I moved the SP3 i386 files with no problems.
