    Cool All people in uk thinking of getting Mega fast broadband look here

    Hi i just found this broadband provider They provide a adsl service upto 4mb but it is also cheap.

    The only catch is you only have 512kbps during working hours 8am - 6pm

    But offpeak you get the full 1,2,4mb downstream which would be ideal for people like me that get in about 6pm and want to download movies etc.. but it is also ideal for my mum during the day when she is using her yahoo messenger and checking her emails while my dad plays delta force online as they dont need very much bandwidth for that. (note i already got 512kbps broadband and they are happy with that but i aint got spoilt with t3 at my last work placement )

    Just a thought for those of you try to get more speed.

    Ps the upload speed is 512kbps after 6pm also for all you software traders out there LOL!

    Oh yeah i take it you want the link now.

    6.1.7 to utilise excessive amounts of bandwidth (for example by connecting for an excessive amount of time; repeatedly engaging site-local scripts or similar behaviour);
    Seems rather an odd item for a broadband provider?

    Seems 4Mbps is limited to London

    http://news.zdnet.co.uk/story/0,,t269-s2130366,00.html

    UK telco Bulldog has widened its range of unbundled broadband products by launching a consumer ADSL service that gives 4 megabits per second (Mbps) surfing at off-peak hours.
    Primetime 4000 will cost £79.99 per month and will only be available in central London -- where Bulldog offers its services from 35 local telephone exchanges.
    This said the 1Mbps service runs at the same price as BT`s 512Kbps service

    Running the line number check only gives me the option of Airtime 500 Grrrr...............

    Mine's running on average of 728kbps. After 10 years of dial-up and my last was running about 48kbps, I feel like a 'ho on crack!!!
