    Outlook Express slow displaying first message

    When I click a message in the Inbox after opeining OE, it takes at least 30 seconds to display that first message. After that, the followig messages are fine. Happens on both my office W98 and home XP comoputers. Anyone know why and/or how to speed that up?

    check tools - options - general and untick open messenger....
