    Flash Player

    XP - Home

    I need to install Flash Player Vers 6 for a particular Site

    Is it necssary to Uninstall Vers 5 or will 6 Install 'on top' ?

    Flash Player is not in my Add\Remove

    I have browsed around Macromedia but nowhere can I find this snippet of information

    They do have a Flash Player Uninstaller available for Download but my question is - is this necessary - is it actually a requirement to Uninstall the previous Version?

    You should just be able to keep the version you have and install (or upgrade) to version 6.

    no just go to macromedia site and the flash section will install version 6, no need to uninstall ver 5
