Strange Files
Last night I found two strange files in my computer. One file was named "Chkdsk.exe" and was on the root of the C drive. The other file was hidden and was called "Database.db" and was located in my down load folder. Both files were created in the last 3 weeks. Both files are zero in size - completely empty.
The chkdsk.exe may have been created when I ran chkdsk /r.
Anyone have any idea what they are and how they got there and if they are safe to delete?
Thanks a lot.

Hi
A quick search on Google produced:

Database.db on google produces a result covering a number of items of software. Could be a shareware program you've downloadded.

Tjolly, I found that link before I posted. It says nothing.
If database.db was a shareware program, why was it standing alone?
Thanks anyway.
