User Manager / server manager
Hi,
I am finally getting our workforce to ditch Win 3.1 & 95 (3 point what ?).
I love and hate XP after just a week. All I want are the old server tools (user manager / server manager event viewer) to run on XP.
is there such a package - and if there is where can I find one?
Many thanks,
N'Bloke

You should be able to just copy them off one of your NT4 servers and run them on XP.
If you want to manage the local XP machine though, right-click on My Computer and select Manage; most of the stuff is in there.

I did try that - but there seems to be some missing dll's.
I'll just carry on copying dlls and see if I can get something usable.
The local XP admin is fine - very similar to 2000.
as a seperate comment - After managing to get Windows to look and feel just like an Apple Mac, it now seems that the Linux Window Managers are next on the list.
I'll post back if a solution happens my way.
Cheerio - just a baby doughnut
