    Touch pad?

    I am sitting here in my normal Laptop pose of pen in mouth doing my work. I tried using the Touch pad on my Toshiba Satellite with the pen and it doesn’t work, no matter the pressure (within reason). Yet, the lightest of touch with my finger moves the cursor, why is this so? What is the M/O of these things?
