ZA Pro 3 keeps asking permission for programs to have access...

ZA Pro 3, keeps asking permission for programs to have access after I've already check Yes. This happens after each reboot, same programs are needing permission to access. This in on Win2K, and started after I installed version 3.5 over 3.1, I've uninstalled it and reinstalled 3.1 again, and am still having the same problem. I even tried Sygate Pro Firewall and am having the same problems with it.

I read of this happening on a newsgroup and it offered a suggestion, but it did not work. I've searched online @ zonelabs, but I could not find anything related.

I use free Sygate myself. Are you sure either ZAP or Sygate can be used with Win2K? It may be that you must use a different firewall than those or, your OS may be corrupted and you need to backup your sensitive data and re-install Windows.

thanks for the reply, a reinstall of 2k is out of the question. I'm currently using a McAfee desktop firewall, don't really care much for it, but it'll do...
