    WMP 9.0 freezes- help!!

    Damn it, I just installed WMP 9.0 and every time I try to play a video clip or anything, it freezes my pc during the last 2-3 minutes of the clip. I have tried to uninstall it, using System Restore, but that does not work. I don't work to work with this forever, what are my alternatives? I don't want to format my hard drive...! Help!!     Hi.. have a look at this post.. there are some instructions for unistalling wmp9. you will have to reinstall a previous version afterwards. Which Operating system do you have? Which one will determine the location of INF\wmp.inf,Uninstall as pointed out in that post.

    (you could do a file search for wmp.inf if you want to verify where it is.)

    ...but I cannot find the english verision of WMP.
