[RESOLVED] Running Tasks in Windows xp
Hi
I have Microft Works always running in the background when using my pc. Am I able to stop this so that the program only runs when I activate it?
I am using xpHome.

Have you tried the System Configuration Utility in XP? You can disable many items at startup there. Also, I don't know about XP, I know Windows 2000 has a Startup folder in the Programs menu. You might want to try that if available.
