    password

    My password problem isnt w/user account. It is on the welcome screen. It says that I olny have x amount of days to change my password. I never put one in. I just recently upgraded to Xp. I hope this is enough info. Mamabear919

    Hi mamabear919,

    Welcome to VirtualDr! This is a great place to find all sorts of information that can enhance your computing expereinces.

    When you boot to the Welcome screen, press Ctrl-Alt-Del. Let up and press Ctrl-Alt-Del a second time. This gives you a different login screen that will let you log in as the administrator so that you can go in and examine the settings for the account in question...

    Go to Control Panel>Administrative Tools>Computer Management>Users & Groups>Users, double click the account you wnat to change and check "password never expires".
