I'm using TPF 2.0.15 (free one). I need to know how to configure it so that "mail washer" and "outlook express" can use port 113 (I understand that is the one they search for).
The way it is now each one takes 30 seconds searching before connecting.

Right click your Tiny icon in the System Tray
click Administration
On the Firewall tab, click the Advanced button
Find Outlook Express and Mail Washer.
Double click each one in turn and click enable

You can choose to use only a single port, but personally (and I will probably get my head bitten off!!) I use the any port setting

They are already set for "any port" and changing them makes no difference.

There is no "enable" but there is a "permit", already checked.

I tried a firewall named "sygate" and it allowed you to use a single port (113)and this did away with the delay, seems TPF would do the same thing.

There's probably something I'm not doing right, don't understand a lot of this configuring.
