Well.....
I maintain a Hotmail account for spam routing, and have both moved and deleted messages consistantly over the last couple of days...
Are you getting any error messages prior to the timeout problem?

thanks for the reply, shiva_42
unsuccessful are our attempts to access HELP in out hotmail accounts - eventually times out sans error message
no timeouts when attempting delete messages - new page loads, but locales remain unchanged
no timeouts when attempting to move messages - no page transition or any activity when new location is chosen after selecting message for move
wondering if some local settings are causing the problem...
hmmm...haven't changed anything I reckon might be relevant...I wonder if it could have to do with the same thing that makes the emoticons not work here for me sometimes :S
of course, I'm just reachin!

That's really strange...
I thought when I first read your post that perhaps M$ had simply been doing some maintenance on Hotmail and you had coincidentally been online during the work.
I just tried all the same functions today (12/11/2002), and everything works correctly for me. If you aren't having other unrelated problems with other locations online, I would suggest (I really hate to even say this) that you contact M$ themselves and describe the problem. I can't replicate your failures, and haven't ever heard of similar behaviour... but I'm really interested in how this plays out. Please post back if you learn anything!
