My first E-mail Virus
I recieved my first E-mail virus today. I use Outlook and
when I opened Outlook the E-mail I recieved with the virus
automaticly opened and attempted to infect. Norton was
able to catch it in time and said the virus was a .pdf
format. I deleted the E-mail and I am just wondering if it
is possible to open Outlook and not have it automaticly
open all new E-mail thereby risking an infection???!
I found this site go to www.youaremyfriend.com for some kicks and send it to a friend.

First, I'd set Outlook with no preview pane. Then get the M$ patches to fix the vulnerability and you might consider using MailWasher where you can view your mail on the server and delete suspicious ones before you download onto your machine.
If you do a search on VDR for MailWasher you'll read some glowing reports of what it does.
