Location and Edit of Clipboard
Can anyone tell me where the clipboard resides, how to view what is on the clipboard and how to clear it. Also does the clipboard clear itself and when?
Thanks a lot.

Its called Clipbrd.exe and it resides in C:\Windows\System32.
How to view the contents, I don't know.
Does it clear itself, I would think so. It may have a set size that it can't get beyond so it should remove the oldest material.

To view the contents of the Clipboard, just open the clipbrd.exe file.
As far as I know, unless you're using MS Office 2000 or later, the Windows clipboard holds only one thing and that's the last thing you copied.
The clipboard clears on reboot unless you use a 3rd party "clipboard enhancer" application, most of which have a "clear clipboard" feature. I use 3D Clip, there are other free ones out there and I don't remember how I got along without one.
