What is mvstcdxx.lst
I find this file all over the place in my computer. It seems to appear in picture folders right after placing a file on a CD template in a CD labeling program. I have deleted hundreds of these files. Does anyone know what this file is? Deleting it has never affected the operation of my computer

You haven't got a Yamaha sound card, have you?
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most

Sound card is Turtle Beach Santa Cruz. There is no Yamaha anything in either of my computers - one running Win 98, the other running Win XP Home.
This appears to have nothing to do with sound. It is all over my computer in folders containing pictures - jpg, bmp, etc.
I think it may be related to a CD labeling program called Sure Thing.
All these mvstcdxx.lst files are a real pain in the arse. Almost as bad as a virus.

I just called the CD label program company - Micro Vision Sure Thing. They confirmed that their program creates these files, but they will not tell me how to turn it off. They say it is "built in" and cannot be turned off. I think this is a lot of BS. I know better than that. But I am not savy enough to figure it out for myself.
Thanks for the help.
