A Wierd Thing Happens when I boot my machine in the morning...

Every time I start my machine in the morning, all my true type fonts are missing. When I restart the machine, they appear as if nothing has happened. Does anyone know what this is??

Where do they appear? Do they appear on the desktop or in an application?

When I start in the morning, the first thing the machine says is "Tahoma font is not present, please reinstall...blah blah blah. When I open Word for example, the font pull down menu shows only about 10 fonts, none of them true type. When I reboot, the fonts return to their normal state. Now all the fonts which are seen directly on the system are visible (desktop) as well as in each application.

Reinstall office97. That will restore the Tahoma font as well as many others. Office apps require the Tahoma font for...something...

I understand that the Tahoma font is used in office. Nevertheless, the Tahoma font is not the only one which disappears, but ALL TRUE TYPE FONTS (that´s the wierd thing!).

This only happens in the morning?

Maybe the computer is possessed or something... =)

Anyways, have you tried to scan your computer for any viruses?
I think this could be a Word/Excel Macro Virus.
