Casper XP
Casper XP is supposed to make a "clone" of drive C to any other hard drive. My drive C is 4.16 GB. The cloned drive is 3.3GB. I do not understand where the other .86GB went. Casper XP does not copy temp/temp internet files. I deleted these before cloning. It also does not clone the page file. Mine is only 200MB. On the cloned drive I do not see recycle bin, my computer, control panel, my network. Shouldn't a cloned drive contain these elements or will they be constructed when the cloned drive is booted?
Casper XP swears that I will be able to boot to the cloned drive, but I would need to crack the external firewire drive case and put the drive into the computer. I have not have had time to do this yet.
Casper XP does not create compressed drive images. It makes drive copies.
Has anyone else tried this program? How do the properties of the two drives compare?
Please do not tell me how much you love Ghost or Drive Image 2002. That will not help me.
Dell 8200
P4 1.5
512 MB Ram
XP Home Edition
Thanks for the help.

Casper XP is the update to Drive2Drive by Future Solutions, since Drive2Drive did not work with XP. I have Casper XP, but have not used it yet so I cannot help you.
