Is it possible to be too fast?
I have noticed something extremely strange with regards to my high speed connection recently. Ever since I got a new modem from my ISP, I have noticed a couple of things: my overall speed seems a little faster, which is good, but sometimes I find that I can't play some online games - I get HUGE packet loss from some of the hops between myself and the game server.
BUT, if I run a filesharing program in the background to clog up the connection a little, the ploss dissapears and I can play!!!
Explain that one
