Last night all was just dandy!
Went to Windows Update and downloaded a graphics driver that it "recomended" I know if it aint broke>>>>>
Anyway it asked me to reboot , which I did and now the system is running mega slowwwww. Can't even open task manager and all aps are taking minutes to load instead of the usual seconds...screen just locks up and have had to do hard shut downs. Tried the F8 and went to last know good config, but that did not help.System startup is also taking forever . It seems the sole culprit is this new driver, but how do I remove it . I have disabled System Restore, times like this wish I had not.
Any replies would be most appreciated.

You could try going to safe mode and removing the driver there. Also it is possible that there is a removal tool on the windows update site where you got the driver that will remove it for you. You would have to look for the driver that you down loaded. On the bottom of the selection there should be a remove button.

    Worth a try.
