Good fax software ?

Hi guys i need some fax software.

i once saw a computer with what i think was creative labs fax software on it that could detect what the incoming call was i.e voice call or fax call i need some software like that as we only have one phone line which is a joint - voice fax line.

As far as I know,the most popular Fax software is WinFax Pro from Symantec.Current version is 10.02.I don't know if it has the feature you want.I suppose yes.

Hot Fax from Smith Micro has that ability. I have been using it for years and have been happy with it.

Hi doc i tried to use hotfax but it didnt tell me about the incoming calls i want the computer to automatic answer faxes but to leave voice calls ringing so that i can answer them.

im just bout to download winfax

I thought what you wanted was a program that could handle both Voice and Fax when the computer is used to handle incoming phone calls.

What you want is a device that will be able to send a fax phone ring to the fax machine but sends the voice phone ring onto your phone so that you can answer it.

If you check with a phone/electronics store or with an office supply store, you should be able to get what you want. My old accountant had one of those things that could separate them out.
