windows explorer refresh
Does anyone have any links or know how to properly refresh the contents of your drives in Windows Explorer?? I have an external zip 100mb parallel port drive that doesn't properly display the contents after refreshing. I would delete files or folders and they'd still show up after refreshing. I was looking in the registry to see if there was a setting to properly refresh the contents and haven't had any luck. The only way to actually see the contents of other disks would be to close the explorer window and open another one. This doesn't happen on another computer that has an internal 100mb zip drive. I was also wondering if this happens when you have the external usb 100mb zip drive..
Any suggestions??

Usually if you'll click on another drive and then go back to the zip it'll display properly.
If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.

it doesn't. Sometimes even clicking on My Documents doesn't do anything. Is it because of the parallel port connection?? Does this happen with the usb external zip drive??

Doesn't happen with the USB drive, and it's been a while since I've used a parallel one but I don't remember having that problem before.
Have you tried downloading the latest drivers and Ziptools from Iomega?

I have the latest win2k drivers as well as the parallel port driver accelerator and the tools as well like the Active Disk and the Iomega Icons app.
Is it just that it's a parallel connection??
