altenrate IE install method - remember?

anyone remember an article outlining an install method for IE that is supposed to be better for a bunch of reasons?

It read something like:
"the right-way to install internet explorer"
something like that.
Anyone?

I think that's it, Train.
I remembered it as the way to do a selective install without having to have (or leave) all the setup/install folders and files on the hd.
