IE6 and popup windows
I have a friend who is running XP Pro with IE6. Evidently he is trying to open up a new IE6 window from a link in his Outlook Express, but every time he clicks on the link, IE6 feels like it's trying to open up the window. All he sees is the IE6 window shell, but with nothing in it. The only way to see that window if it has the text on the buttons is when he stops it, then refreshes and then it shows up properly. He has all the latest critical and security patches for IE6. Since he can't really use IE6, he's currently using Netscape.
Has anyone ever had this problem before or could someone post links to remedy this problem??
Thanx!

Can you be a bit more specific? Is he trying to access a link that someone has sent him via e-mail? If so he may have to change some security settings.

yes, he is trying to access a link from an email sent to him in Outlook Express. It's a hassle though to stop the browser if it's got the buttons in the menu and then refresh, but for popup windows that don't have any controls, it's no use.
