[RESOLVED] Incredimail

I have justed changed ISP's and am now using sympatico high speed. The problem is my incredimail email program was working fine until I started using sympatico. Now it will not send or receive email. Whenever I click on send/receive nothing happens in the status window, it is like I haven't pressed anything. I get no error messages. I have checked and rechecked my smtp and pop settings and they are all correct. Outlook express will send and receive with no problems. But I much prefer using Incredimail and would like to get this working. Also Outlook Express can't seem to connect when it tries to pick up my hotmail, it gets stuck and says 'not connecting'.

Hi, i still have incredimail on my hard drive but don't use it anymore. Several times i had to reinstall it to make it work and i finally got tired of it though i did like it other than that and the fact that it is a litle limited in some things. One thing you might check is your AV settings, i use norton and had trouble with that as well until i upgraded to 2002.
If you choose to reinstall you'll have to set it up again as far as user info and settings but if you install over the one you have you won't loose any of your mail. Incredimail is a great idea but needs some bugs worked out IMHO. Good luck.

I finally got it working. Just set up a connection under tools in Internet Explorer. Thank You for the help.
