PROGMAN.INI file-where can I find code for RESTRICTIONS to control windows etc.

I have been asked as a donation to work on a handicapped center's computer that was given to them as a donation. They are running Win 3.1. Their clients are having fun with the computer but are getting into places they should not be (not on perpose to hurt anything they just don't know any better). Not easy to explain to them that they should not click on certain areas. Meantime I remember that the PROGMAN.INI file (I believe that was the file name) will allow me to enter in code to disable certain things like being able to run a program, only have the windows that I want to show come up on boot up etc. lock the position of windows. Disable existing Windows etc. I don't remember where I got these codes years back and if anyone may have a reference link I would appreciate it greatly.

    Thanks

Actually Mark you don't have to get that elaborate. Simply remove the icons that you don't want them to access. Simply creat a new program group box of icons with programs you want them to access. I'm betting Win 3.1 is booting into the Main Window.
Go to File from the Program Manager Menu Bar and click on New. You will see New Program Group and Program Item options. From there you can pick and chose the programs you want them to use and add them to the new program group.
