CDRW Firmware Upgrade
I have Liteon CDRW model LTR-24102M. Whenever I burn a CD I get a warning in event viewer that event ID 51 has occured during a paging operation. However, I have never had a problem with the drive. Using Nero, all CD's burn perfectly. I have three questions:
1. Is this anything to be concerned about?
2. How do I find out what firmware version I have? I have looked everywhere I could think of.
3. Would a firmware upgrade fix this problem or am I just taking a chance of messing up the whole thing. That is "If it ain't broke, don't fix it"?
Dell 8200 P4 1.8 512 ram
Thanks a lot.

DL cdvinfo http://www.miseryhq.d2g.com/dlzone that will give you your firmware revision... But if your just getting alerts in event viewer and it is burning properly,,, I'd live with it... I've done a lot of flrmware flashing and a lot of times had problems and had to revert to the old firmware...

Thanks everyone for your help. I will probably decide to live with this warning. I have received a lot of advice on this subject and it heavily runs toward leaving it alone as long as it works. I did down load the latest firmware just in case.
OOORAH!!!
