Better features than version .2, and I've set it up to work with Outlook Express in WinXP. And yes it does work. Incredible!!!!!!!!

Yahoo! Mail disabled free access to its POP3 service in April 2002. This resulted in many people (including myself) to look for alternative free POP3 services. But this exercise can be very difficult because of the fact that your Yahoo! Mail address could be with several people and informing all of them about your new email address could prove to be a nightmare.

This application emulates a POP3 server and enables popular email clients like Outlook, Netscape, Eudora, Mozilla, Calypso, etc., to download email from Yahoo! accounts. We do not go against the license agreements of Yahoo! Mail. This application is completely legitimate and well within the realms of legal software.

I have my doubts about this claim.

I too have WinXP / Outlook Express 6.0 and Yahoopops0.3
Problem : No set up instructions with Yahoopops. Under help it states "send an email to yahoopops for setup instructions for Outlook Express" . I sent them 2 emails , with no reply
Any Help ? I need instructions please

Right! They don't really give you enough info on how to set it up, but I'll send you some pictures of what the OE6 e-mail Account options should look like. HTH

Thanks Fuelm@n , is YahooPOPS when used in OutlookExpress used for recieving yahoo mail only,or can you send also . What I'm stuck at is the SMTP server name . My ISP is MSN which uses Hotmail which has an HTTP server , not an SMTP server

Lahawk, the info should be in your e-mail now. I'm not sure how it would work with HTTP, I use SMTP. YahooPops work for receiving, you'd have to have a SMTP to send, at least that's what I'm using.

I'm not sure if it'll work if you use someone else's, use mine and see if it'll work, if you receive an error message when you try sending, then it didn't work. E-mail yourself to test it, with my SMTP.
