    Unhappy Screensaver and Blue Screen

I've noticed that whenever my Screensaver is activated, the Dreaded Blue Screen comes on. Sometimes a certain screensaver can run for several hours before it comes on and other times the screensaver just has to run a few minutes for it to activate the blue screen with the Fatal exception message. I've also noticed that when I go to the computer and activate the mouse to cause the screensaver to vanish, the saver vanishes and instantly, the fatal exception screen appears. This did not happen till about 6 months ago and up till then, I downloaded screensavers for all occasions with no problems at all. I've run several virus checkers in case one I had downloaded may have been infected but came up clean. So, for now, I have my screensaver turned off but would like to find out what to do to fix the conflict. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Do you get a specific error message when this happens?

Does it do it with all screen savers, or just some of them? How about Blank Screen?

its happened to my comp. If you use a "busy" screen saver (ie underwater or haunted house), the comp likes to freeze at any time. so i use scrolling marquee. (add/remove programs, windows setup, accessories, screen savers) mine says: You are on Spooky G's Computer. Yay!

I'm funnier than cancer, although by not much.
