REGEDIT 4
How do I do a manual entry for:
REGEDIT4
[HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\FS Templates\Powerful]
@="Powerful PC"
"NameCache"=hex:a0,0f,00,00
"PathCache"=hex:80,00,00,00
I've made it to> FS Templates/Server in regedit and these are my settings now
NameCache a9 0a 00 00
PathCache 40 00 00 00
Is it just a matter of right clicking on each cache and selecting modify to change settings?
I've already set the "Typical Role of this Machine" to "Network Server."

1) Goto ...\FS Templates and highlight the key (in the left pane).
2) Right-click and select New and then Key
3) Edit the created key name (in left pane) and change it to Powerful PC
4) Highlight the (newly created) Powerful PC key (in the left pane), then right-click in the right pane and select New then [Binary value[/b]
5) Edit the newly created binary value and give it a name of NameCache
6) Doubleclick on the NameCache entry and enter A00F0000 and click OK.
repeat steps 4 and 5 to create the PathCache binary value
7) Doubleclick on the PathCache entry and enter 40000000 and click OK
8) Exit Regedit
You'll then have a new selection, Powerful PC, to choose from in the listbox under Performance --> File System --> Hard Disk --> Settings.

If you have made the reg file. Right click and select merge. Answer prompts.
Then go back in and change it from network server to powerful PC.

80 00 00 00
instead of
40 00 00 00

Oops! Sorry, my mistake. You are correct. Use 80000000.

It should appear in the listbox if you put it in the registry correctly. You do need to restart to have it take effect though.
As others have suggested though, it might be simpler to just use a utility or acquire the pre-built reg file and install it.

Well I finally found out what I was doing wrong. It was in between step 3 & 4. My changes are in bold text.
3) Edit the created key name (in left pane) and change it to Powerful PC
I had to double click on default in the right pane and enter powerful PC for Value Data.
4) Highlight the (newly created) Powerful PC key (in the left pane), then right-click in the right pane and select New then [Binary value[/b]
I really appreciate your help guys. Thank you!!!
