Hi
Can only help with some of your items here
I run an Asus A7V (via chipsets) and D800 and have just fitted an Audigy Platinum to my system (IRQ 5 reserved as for all Soundblasters) and am having no problems at all - despite some of the horror stories I have read about !!
I think that the Audigy is a brilliant card and the input/output options are excellent (I use Guitar/Keyboard and Drum machine all with ease). Bundled software is also pretty good Cubasis, Wavelab Lite etc.
My graphics are Voodoo 3 AGP so I can't really help you with that one but I have had some good info regarding Via compatibility Here
Hope this helps and happy listening !!
