system temperature monitor
Any suggestions on a program to monitor system temps? I have Sandra 2001 but it must not be compatible with my mobo it does not give me a temp reading...I tried hardware monitor and it is a 30 day trial...I had it for 3 days it worked well...something happened to my system date and I set the date to the correct date and it said since you set your date back your trial is expired. I emailed them and explained the situation them but they said 3 days was plenty of time to see if I liked the program and If I want to use it register it...Is there any freeware that I could use? or at least a good shareware that I could evaluate for more than 3 days?

I use PC Alert III, it works great with my Epox board, it came on the disk with a MSI mobo I bought a little while ago.

Windows 95 for Dummies (Second Chapter)
Fed up with UK 0870 Phone Numbers
Backup Boogaloo, you know it makes sense to do.

MBM 5 is definately the way to go and it's completely free. It's a little bit of a pain sometimes to figure out which sensor is which but it's still the best of all the temp monitoring programs I've used.

MBM seems to work fine....MBM5 is a little confusing, try version 4.17 if you can find it. It monitors the system temperature and resources more accurately than anything else I've tried.

I think you have to configure it to your sensors first....I just downloaded mbm 4.18 and had to set it to read my sensors...at first it had me running at 127 degrees celcius....then I configured it to my board and all is well.....new case 4 fans and am running at 37 degrees under full load
