    IE5.5 SP1

    I've just downloaded IE 5.5 SP1. The download and install went OK but nothing has altered in 'help/about' and it doesn't appear in the add/remove page. Even if it doesn't alter in 'help/about' it should surely be in add/remove? Does anyone know what might have gone wrong?

    I downloaded IE 5.5 SP1 and it is indeed in my Add/Remove.

    While in IE go to Help and select About Internet Explorer. Mine reads:

    5.50.4522.1800

    Perhaps your install did not take.

    Thanks Creekman - 'help/about' hasn't changed, it still reads 5.50.4124.0100 so something must be wrong. It took an hour to download so I think I'll leave it alone for now and do it again sometime.
