BrowserUI.dll
A friend of mine has gotten an error, blue screen of death, in this DLL. Can someone tell me what can be done about correcting it?

The .dll's name is actually browseui.dll. And it may be fixable, but we need to know when it happens... what the rest of the error message is... and when did it start.
Browseui.dll is a component of Internet Explorer. Without knowing more, you might have your friend attempt a repair of IE from add/remove programs in the contol panel.

Although I haven't actully seen the error message on her screen, it usually happens when she starts I.E. and everything freezes from that point. Can I copy over the DLL file with a replacement? Or, if possible, is it better to run the repair I.E. as you suggested? Thanks for your quick reply!

Ok I had a similar problem with BROWSEUI.DLL and ended up running a system restore in WMe that resolved it.
But go here Microsoft Knowledge Base Search and search for BROWSEUI.DLL
Or here Article On BROWSEUI.DLL for the specific problem I was getting and an apparent resolution.
