Monitor Problems
I have an NEC FE700+ monitor that has been giving me grief ever since I bought it. Depending on who I talk to, the problem is a bad monitor, a bad video card, or a bad windows.
The problem is that the screen settings do not hold. The screen will at times spontaneously shift to the left or right by an inch, or when I go into a game (and the resolution changes) and come back, sometimes the screen settings will be totally out of wack.
Any ideas? What saves the screen settings information for the different resoltions, the monitor, the video card, or windows?
NEC is full of idiots and I can't get a straight answer from them (I have called them several times and get a different answer every time!).

Hmmm...
I also have a Geforce2 video card, so you might be onto something. I will take a look at this.
Thanks.
