    IRQ changing

My system has the sound, video, and lan card sharing irq 11 on pci steering and will not let me modify the settings on these resources..I want to put them all on separate IRQ how can I do this in windows me.

If your system works well with this IRQ setting (eg. no hardware conflict shows up in the device manager), don't try to change it - don't mess with IRQs unless you have to.

Windows has a builtin function for IRQ sharing so it can handle this situation without any problem. I've had 4 devices sharing the same IRQ without any problem.

If you're interested I wrote a little piece here that explains the basics principles on IRQs: http://discussions.virtualdr.com/For...ML/004436.html

You can try moving your cards into different slots, some of them have their own IRQ.
