    icon of control panel gone

    I can't reach the control panel because the icon has disappeared. Bad dll? Something with Tweak UI? Something else? Thank you for your help anyway.

    When you open explorer and look down the list of folders is the folder for control panel there? If so right click and you can put icon on the desktop.

    As a temp work around, you can go to Start->Find and do search for *.cpl
    If you're happy and you know it......it's your meds.
