    Problem with IE 5.5 (another one)

    When I tried a connection, I get the message "Starting to download from http://..., then the connection gets very, very slow and even if I waited for ages, I think I would never get it.

    Does the whole system slow down or is it just the page that's trying to load?

    What happens if you stop IE and then type in another address, like say virtualdr.com?

    Are you getting any error messages? If so, what do they say?

    It's the page that's trying to load that is never completed. I don't get any error message. This does not happens with Netscape.
