ICS with win2000 slower than winMe**please read**
I set up win2k recently and have 2 nics in the host machine and I let it set up the network automatically for the nic that connects to the cable modem...then set it for sharing which automatically assigns an 192.168.0.1 255.255.2550 setup on the 2nd nic in the host....my client machine is experiencing a longer hesitation where it says detecting proxy settings than when I had winME on the host...is there anything I can do to make this lag shorter

why not just disable "automatic proxy detection" in the internet connection wizard?
