What are some of the networking troubleshooting techniques that I need to do when there are router, switch, hub, and server problem? And what are the most common problems and how do I solve them?

Believe it or not that's a pretty wide open question. Is there a particular problem you are trying to solve or figure out? If so, post back with additional info, especially number of servers/clients/hubs/switches, configuration of these, operating systems, etc. Thx, mm
Oops, almost forgot - Welcome to Virtual Dr. I think you'll find people ready and willing to assist, we just need a little more info.

Well, this is a general question that I want other network experts to help me answer. I'm starting a new job and I want other people who experienced with router, switch, etc.. to give me a breakdown of what to expect on common problems that they encountered. I don't have a particular problem, but I think I know the company I'm going to work has 5 servers, 100 clients, 12 hubs, Windows NT, and not sure about switches. Thanks for helping!
