router and filtering
I just bought a linksys 8port router. Is there anyone/anyway to block out certain ip address/ranges or filter address to a "dead end".
I want to block outside not on the internal lan.
thanks

If you can forward ports with that router, you can try to forward all ports to an IP that doesn't exist on your lan, for instance: If you have 2 computers 10.0.0.1 and .2, then forward all ports to .3. But test it thoroughly first. www.grc.com
