    One bad egg

We are running a DSL line with an ethernet. We have one server running Windows NT and 6 PC's with Win95. The server and 3 PC's and two buildings down from the hub. On the hub we have 8 ports. Oe is an uplink to the server and other PC's and three ports go to the PC's in the office. When we hook on particular PC up it slows down the entire network. But when it is unplugged everthing is fine. It is not the cable because we have made new ones. We have even switch PC's still the same. We have tried different ports too. We have made sure that everyones IP are correct and domain, etc. We are totally stumped. Can you please advise us of what we might do. Thanks in advance. Any help is greatly appreciated.

You might try swapping out the NIC on the offending PC. It may be swamping your network with noise. -mk
    If it ain't broke,
    Fix it till it is.

HAve you tried specifying the media type and speed on the nic's? A lot of times, if you're running 10/100 cards, it's better to specify the media/speed, instead of auto-detecting. Check the eventlog on the server, see if you have anything there...
