    Chintzy Office 2000 icons

    Im just curious about this.
To me, the icons that Office 2000 uses for excel, word, outlook etc are the chintziest looking things I have ever seen in my life. They look like they were created by a 5 year old.
Is there a way to use the nice looking Office 97 icons with Office 2000?

If you are dealing with shortcuts, then you can change the icon in the shortcut properties section. If they are program icons, it gets a little more complicated, and a bit more dangerous changing them.

Im referring the icons on the programs menu.
    Those default icons are terrible!
Looks like you can change them easily in 98. What about 95? The programs menu functions totally differently in 98

    Mosaic thanks for the reply
I want them changed in Windows 95 not Windows 98 & on the - start Programs menu.
One thing that really horkes me off about Office also is that the programmers cant create a program group Called Office 9x & plunk all the icons in there.
    I really object to that!
    Thats just a pet peeve.
