Don't know which way to go

    Hello,

I am down to two antivirus products to choose from Norton and CA Inoculateit6. Both seem to work great. This program is for our corporate network. CA is about 3 times less in cost for a site license. CA also seems to be less "bulky" than Norton. Norton's main advantage is that the company is I think bigger and the Tech support might be better.

    Any opinions??

I currently run a 17,000 node network using Norton and have no problems or issues with it....

I also deal with an engineer for a corporation which has about the same number of computers and they use Innoculateit with no issues...

Both are excellent products which offer top-notch protection.

If you are getting a significant reduction in cost with one, I would suggest going with that one.

I'd consider Trend commercial products. Available from http://www.antivirus.com

Where I work we have over 7 different offices from California to virginia and we have I would say easily over 1,000 employees and we use Norton Antivirus Corporate Edition. I would say if you go cheap now then, you might pay the price later. We get updates all the time in fact everyday when we start are computers since they have it configured where the updates go on the server at night and then get put on in the morning on boot up, but each indivdual user can also just click a button and get the latest update as well right from the desktop. I would at least check with Norton and see what they can do for you, I'm not the one who set it up, but maybe they can cut a deal on how big the company is? Just a thought? Good Luck
