    SiSoftware Sandra (System ANalyser, Diagnostic and Reporting Assistant) is another good program along the same lines, with the added bonus of a few benchmarking utilities.

    I've built a few systems for friends and I like running Belarc when I'm done and giving them a printout when I hand over their new system. I also leave a copy of it in their documents folder. Nice tool.
