Scanning text in Word
I have Windows ME. I'm still learning the basics & would appreciate some advise on how, when I send a scanned letter to Word it does not look the same ?ie; an old style letter with name ,address etc, instead of being sent to Word like that ,the address comes out in one long line ?? Probably something simple ( wordwrap??)so I would really appreciate some advice.
:-(

Hi nickblears - your scanners optical character recognition software may not support fonts, font size and formatting. It may scan using Words default font setting and leave it up to you to edit and format the document once its in Word. Check out your scanners help file. You should find this information there.

What scanner and scanner software are you using to originate this scanned page? With some more specific information we might be better able to advise you!
