Friday Night Trivia on a Tuesday

I regret that I ran out of Friday night trivia questions. Also, I have been exceedingly busy

Here is the last trivia question that I can think of and it is hard. Lets all play nice too. See if you know. Dig hard for this one!

In the early days of Apple, before Apple was called Apple, Steve Jobs & Steve Wozniak tinkered with things

They developed a device that would call free anywhere in the world.

This is a 3 part question. No partial credit!

    1.) What was the device?
2.) They got a notable person out of bed. Who was that?
3.) Who did they claim to be?

    You MUST answer all three!

We havent done trivia for a long time. I saved the hardest for last even though it isnt Friday like we used to do

The device was a "Blue box" (Phone Phreaking) a forerunner of today's hacking. They pretended to be Henry Kissinger and called the Vatican. The pope was asleep at the time. I recently saw a TV program on this phone-phreaking stuff as the origin of hacking.

    Good to see ya PCS.

    Very good max!

You must watch Tech TV! Most people would never get all 3 correct on the first answer!

A scant hour or less later mind you! Very well done indeed!

Lets keep it going. We used to play Friday Night Trivia and we all need a diversion

What can we do for fun?

Thanks PCS...sorry getting back here late. Actually, the program I saw was on The Learning Channel or Discovery Channel, not sure which. It was on just a few weeks ago and was pretty interesting. Although stealing some free pnone calls is a far cry from what is going on now. Did get a kick out of the guy they called "Captain Crunch" because he used a whistle that came free in the box of cereal, to "phreak" the phone company.

I knew that answer...only because I used to have a red box until I found out how illegal it was...shame on me...
I was a stupid youngster though...
